Where "Vocatio" Comes From
Vocatio is a Latin word meaning "calling" or "vocation." It's rooted in the idea that every person is summoned — by design, by God — toward a specific kind of work in the world.
We didn't choose this name by accident. We chose it because it captures the question at the center of everything we do: What were you made for?
Most venture firms ask: "Can this idea make money?" We start somewhere different. We ask: "Is this person living from their calling?" Because when the answer is yes — when someone is building from the depths of their God-given design — extraordinary things happen.
